Albafeles Cattery of Claudia Zaino

Albafeles, from latin Alba=white & Feles=cat.
Albafeles Cattery is ANFI/FIFE registered, located in Italy. It is not a shop, the cats live with us and can go everywhere inside the house, even in our bedroom. The cats live in a cleaned and enjoyable environment so they are healthy and well sociabled. You are kindly invited to visit us and see our cats.

Breeding's charateristic

The cats' morphological selection is do by an accurate choice of the subjects who are more similar as possible to the standard of the breed. The kitten are kept in a very comfortable environment and petted since they were born. So they became good-natured. The female cats help each other taking care of their kitten.


Feeding: accurate selection of healthy food based on the age and taste of each Birman cat.


The health of the cats is frequently checked by veterinarians who give to each cat vaccinations, passport, microchip, ID card and everything they need following Italian and FIFE's law about animals.


Our cats live in a clean and safe environment; to clean it we use special products reccomended by veterinarians.


We study a lot of time obout birman cats, we participate at seminaries and expositions to do the correct choise about our cats.

Breeding philosophy

The breeding is only a passion. It is not an intensive breeding. We bring up only a few, loved cats. We adopt a cat just after an accurate study of its pedigree end family tree. Our breeding grows slowly with love.


Coupling: we don't have a stud service. Our males are only for our females and for our good friends' ones.

Blood analisys: all our cats are Fiv and Felv tested.

We respect the law of ANFI/FIFE wich are favour to the animals' health therefore: we don't give kitten to shops, the mother-cats have kittens when they are adults, every female cat is a mother once at year, etc...

The kittens will leave us when they are least three months old and fully vaccinated. They leave us only to stay with amiable families

Our cattery has few Birman cats, but notwithstanding in year 2009 it is the 2nd Birman Cattery in Italy for points scored at cat shows and 5th Cattery all breeds out of 40 contestants in Italy.
